We live in a village – farming community on the North York moors just outside Whitby – so we have now been house bound for a week. I have witnessed the animals being moved from the exposed grazing areas to barns indoors. It has been a bitter, hard relentless week and when people in other area talk about the excitement over a “flurry” of snow I feel a realisation of the season is missing reality – loved this! Really did.
