I had a little chuckle when I read your blog today. Those delicacies that you photographed looked really tasty, but, I’m afraid that I’m a Cornish maid and I know what a pasty should look like. Crimped all down one side or possible all the way across the top. But I wouldn’t say no to one of your creations!!!

I grew up with pigs but can’t remember this problem. Good luck anyway.

Poor Jethro.
One of our neighbours got very badly injured in just the same way, he only just managed to haul himself back on to the quad to get home (he’d no mobile with him) he was on crutches for over 6 months.

Hope the puppy will be fine, it’s something we are thinking about too. Mixed farming is something most farmers need to do these days just to make ends meet.
